Stephen Whidden

Steve currently works as an Offshore Program Development Manager based in Calgary at TGS, a Norwegian based company that provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas Exploration and Production companies worldwide.  Steve joined TGS in 2011. Prior to that, Steve was employed 24 years with Western Geophysical/WesternGeco/Schlumberger.  Steve worked in a variety of positions, WG South American Marine Manager based in Rio de Janeiro, WG Canadian Country Manager, Western Geophysical NSA Marine Manager among several others. Steve graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a BSc in Geophysics.  The first six years out of university, Steve worked offshore on various seismic ships throughout the Western Hemisphere for Western Geophysical.  In 1994, Steve moved onshore to work in Houston marine operations before moving on to Rio de Janeiro (twice), Denver, and Calgary.
