About Canadian Global Exploration Forum

The Canadian Global Exploration Forum (CGEF) is the only registered Canadian organization that serves and promotes Canadian-based International oil and gas Exploration and Production companies. CGEF provides opportunities to explore and develop the reach of Canadian oil and gas companies worldwide by linking Canadian E&P companies with national oil companies and independent operators in emerging and established markets. Our annual conference is held in September and attracts over 350 delegates from 10 countries.

The mission of CGEF is to facilitate cooperation amongst Canadian international petroleum exploration and production companies through the sharing of expertise, technology, and opportunities; and to promote member companies through the development of affiliations with government agencies in Canada and internationally.

"The Canadian Global Exploration Forum is one of the most important settings for Canada's oil and gas community to learn about the outstanding opportunities for international investment. With Canadian oil exports limited to the US market, the next best growth opportunities are off shore. Canadian companies should leverage this forum to help shape growth agendas."
