Rod Miller

Rod Miller, SAIT’s Associate Vice President of Corporate Training Solutions, joined SAIT in 2013. Rod is responsible for the division that provides learning, training and development solutions to organizations both in Canada and internationally. Working with national and multinational organizations, Rod’s team draws from the best of SAIT’s eight academic schools to provide high-quality workforce-development solutions to industry training partners around the globe. Rod also oversees SAIT’s multi-year, large-scale workforce-development partnerships that support institutional capacity building in emerging economies. Before joining SAIT, Rod spent over 25 years in various leadership positions in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology, professional services and management consulting industries. He has previous experience in the post-secondary environment as a university sessional instructor, teaching human resources, sales, and small-business management courses. Rod has a B.Sc. in zoology/psychology, a bachelor’s degree in economics, and an MBA from the University of Calgary. He also holds a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation, a Human Capital Strategist designation from the Human Capital Institute, and is a member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
