Joey St-Pierre

Joey St-Pierre is a Senior Account Manager with Export Development Canada (EDC). Joey is passionate about working with Canadian companies in structuring financial solutions to support their activities and investments in markets all over the world.  Joey holds a Finance Degree from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.   Export Development Canada (EDC) is Canada's export credit agency. Our mandate is to support and develop Canada’s trade, and the capacity of Canadian companies to participate in and respond to international business opportunities. We provide insurance and financial services, bonding products, small business solutions as well as online credit risk management tools. Our customers are Canadian exporters, investors and their international buyers. We place a particular emphasis on small and medium enterprises by developing tools to help them succeed in international markets. EDC is a Crown corporation, wholly owned by the Government of Canada and accountable to Parliament through the Minister of International Trade. We are financially self-sustaining and do not receive parliamentary appropriations; our revenue is generated primarily by collecting interest on our loans, fees on our guarantee products and premiums on our insurance products.
