Dean Callaway

Dean has been involved in the international energy industry for more than 23 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, an International MBA from Nijenrode University in the Netherlands and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Over the past 10 years he has been involved with private and public international oil and gas companies in the role as Chief Financial Officer. These companies include Bukit Energy (Indonesia), Sun God Resources (Mexico), PanAfrican Oil (Namibia, Congo), Gallic Energy (France, Australia), TG World (Philippines, Alaska, Niger) and TIC (Thailand). Prior to changing career paths into the junior international oil and gas sector he was a Director of M&A/Corporate Planning at Terasen Pipelines, Corporate and International Finance at Enbridge and TransAlta and prior to this investment banking at Merrill Lynch. In his role at all of these companies, he has worked in several international jurisdictions and financed over a billion dollars in corporate and project financings. Dean is active in the community with volunteer Board of Director positions at the Calgary Winter Club and CGEF. He has also served on the Boards of two TSXV start-up companies and is presently involved with small property developments in Belize Central America.
